Forecast Record

Every forecast is saved before the game starts and scored against what actually happened, next to the sportsbooks’ prices. Here’s how we keep score, in public.

How the record works

Saved Before Kickoff

Each forecast is saved before the game begins and only ever added to, so nothing can be adjusted after the fact.

Graded Against Results

Once the game ends, every forecast is scored against the official final and added to the record.

Compared With the Market

We score our forecasts against the sportsbooks’ prices with the margin removed, on the same games.

Every Sport, One Record

Premier League soccer, the NBA, NFL and NHL, each scored on its own games; sports are not ranked against each other.

Wins and Misses Included

Every scored game stays on the record, including the forecasts that missed. You can download the saved rows.

What the Record Shows So Far

Our testing has not yet established a reliable forecasting advantage over market prices. We publish that openly, because a second opinion is only useful if you know how much to trust it.
