We Collect Prices
Each sportsbook’s published prices are saved when they change: through the day, about an hour before each start and, for US games, every 15 minutes during play. Every price shows when it was captured.
Pick a fixture, run the simulator, and explore the pitch in detail.
Scoutics turns sportsbook prices and match models into a clear second opinion. Here’s what happens behind every number you see.
Each sportsbook’s published prices are saved when they change: through the day, about an hour before each start and, for US games, every 15 minutes during play. Every price shows when it was captured.
A forecast gives the chance of each result, and simulators for the Premier League, NBA, NFL and NHL play games out so you can change a lineup and compare.
Every forecast is saved before the game and scored against the real result in our forecast record, next to the sportsbooks’ prices.
Start with your question
Choose a matchup, inspect the inputs and compare what changes. The tools answer different questions, so each result comes with its own scope and limits.
| Your question | Start here | What to inspect |
|---|---|---|
| How does a forecast compare with the price? | Games and prices | Available sportsbook quotes, capture times and the forecast or market estimate identified on the page. |
| What changes with a different lineup or situation? | Scoutics for Coaches Full-match lineup comparison | The selected players or supported situation, the unchanged opponent and the difference between runs. |
| What should we investigate about this team? | Team Scout | Curated team notes and their coverage. Use them to frame a review; they are not a player valuation or a recruitment recommendation. |
Check the matchup, date, available prices, lineup and data status. A saved forecast and a scenario engine are different models.
Compare prices for the same outcome, or change one lineup assumption while holding the opponent and test settings fixed. Read the tool’s supported scope before running it.
Check the difference, sample size and uncertainty alongside the original inputs. Scenario results are approximate; their sampling intervals do not capture every model or data error.
Scoutics is not a sportsbook. We don’t accept bets, hold balances or pay winnings, and no sportsbook pays to be listed or ranked. Paid plans pay for software access, never stakes.

How the player agents are built in each sport, and what happens to injured or suspended players.
| Sport | Player agents | Injured or suspended players |
|---|---|---|
| Premier League | Built from this season’s stats, with a small recent-form adjustment. | Sit out, from the published injury list. |
| NBA | Built from this season’s stats. | Sit out, from the published injury list. |
| NFL | Built from this season’s stats. | Sit out, from the published injury list. |
| NHL | The animated game uses each player’s measured ratings from MoneyPuck data. The 100-game comparison uses one rating from his season scoring and ice time. | No NHL injury list yet. |
So NHL results don’t yet reflect injuries. The NHL simulator says this before you run it.
Every European club gets one rating from past results only: its domestic league (from football-data.co.uk) and the European cups (from openfootball). No betting prices go in. The difference between two ratings becomes the chance of a home win, a draw and an away win after 90 minutes. Ratings are updated as new domestic results come in, and a match’s forecast is saved the first time it is shown and kept until kickoff.
How it was tested: on the 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 Champions League seasons (503 matches), which were never used to tune it. It gives draws slightly too much chance (23% on average, against 17% seen). On the Premier League it is less accurate than the sportsbooks’ closing prices, so it is not a reason to bet on its own.
There is no forecast when a club has no recent results in our data (for example clubs from leagues we don’t cover, rated from European matches only). Champions League forecasts are new and are not yet on the forecast record.

Every number on Scoutics is an estimate from a model, never a guarantee or betting advice. Our testing has not yet established a reliable forecasting advantage over market prices, and we say so openly.
The saved forecast record compares probabilities with actual outcomes. The worked example explains a paired lineup test. Forecast accuracy does not validate lineup effects, scouting judgments or future profitability.
Market quotes cover the books and games available in our feed and can change before you check the sportsbook. A listed price does not confirm your eligibility or local access. Paid plans buy software access and run allowances.
