Sometimes two legal apps price the same game far enough apart that backing every outcome would have returned more than the total stake. Insider lets you study these gaps at the apps you can use: each price, its book, the exact time it was captured and the quoted return. It is research into how sportsbook prices differ, not a live feed of bets to place.
How fresh the prices are: Scoutics saves each app’s prices about once an hour (10am–11pm ET), about an hour before each start and every 15 minutes during games. Prices often change between captures, so a gap you see has usually moved or closed by the time you look. Every price shows when it was captured.
Historical quotes, not verified bets. Prices can change, books can refuse, limit or void a bet, and settlement rules can differ between books. In the NFL a tie refunds both stakes, so a complete bundle makes $0. No profit is guaranteed. Scoutics takes no bets.
Our 2025–26 study covered 3,380 Premier League, NBA, NFL and NHL games with confirmed results and 43,057 saved moneyline snapshots. A game counted when, in at least one snapshot, the best prices at eight US sportsbook apps (FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics, BetRivers, ESPN BET and Hard Rock), each updated 0 to 120 seconds before the snapshot and from at least two different apps, added up to a quoted return of 0.10% or more. Snapshots were taken at set times before each game, not continuously, so how long a gap lasted was not measured. Matching settlement rules were assumed, not verified, and no bet was placed.
One run credit covers one full user-initiated simulation job. A batch job may evaluate many internal simulation samples (for example 100) and still uses one run credit, of the same kind a single run of it would use. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Subscription payments are non-refundable. You can cancel any time and retain access until the end of your paid billing period. Taxes, when applicable, are calculated separately at checkout.
